More lies behind the beauty and swiftness of a sailboat than the wind that fills its sails. Discipline is required to keep it on course. The same is true of your spiritual life. As you seek after God, certain time-proven spiritual disciplines, such as prayer, meditation, fellowship, worship, fasting, and simplicity, can add power, depth, and direction to your faith. This guide introduces you to six key disciplines that will deepen your knowledge of God and guide you in paths of godly thinking and action.
